Hey, good morning. I'm Playbook Deputy Editor Zach Stanton. It is Friday, October 4th,

and here's what's driving the day.

Perhaps the single most popular man in Democratic politics is finally getting out on the road

to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris. Former President Barack Obama is expected to hit the campaign trail in battleground states

starting next week.

A senior Harris campaign official said Obama will do a bunch of events in the final 27 days

of the election starting on Thursday in Pittsburgh.

This will mark Obama's first return to the trail since Harris has been at the top of the

ticket. His final stretch will include additional fundraising emails and direct mail. He'll record

candidate-specific ads and robocalls for down-ballot races. And of course, he'll travel a country

for coordinated due TV efforts, according to an aide to the former president. Playbook has the

exclusive as well on a new seven-figure ad from the Harris campaign

aimed at Latino voters in battleground states. The spot, titled Why Do We Fight or Luchamos,

will air both digitally and on TV, including during the Univision-hosted town halls expected

for next week with Harris and former President

Donald Trump. The Harris camp says the ad will also air during high-viewership events and shows,

including Major League Baseball Playoff Games and high-ranked telenovelas. The investment comes

at a critical time for Democrats as the party's edge among Latino voters has shrunk to

generational lows as seen in recent polls. And speaking of polls, don't miss this week's
