Here is what's driving the day.

First, Vice President Harris's campaign has made a huge deal about her going to places Democrats don't typically go. Later today,

she'll continue that trend by campaigning in a city famous for its place in the GOP's foundational

myth. Joining her as former representative and conservative Republican Liz Cheney, it will be their

And that in her remarks, the vice president will make an explicit and direct appeal to Republican and independent voters.

Look for Harris to lean into her promises to uphold

the rule of law and the Constitution while attacking former President Donald Trump for,
