All right, so we're on the day five of the Delphi Murders Trial and we're catching up on all that happened.

In Texas, police responded to an office building after receiving reports of a shooting.

There, they found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and a man who was on his knees with his hands in the air. And in Pennsylvania,

Pennsylvania, police were called to an apartment complex after receiving a report about an unresponsive toddler.

All of this come in at you right now here on Sword and Scale Daily. All right, we are on a day five of the Delphi Murders Trial.

To start the day, the first witness called to the stand was

Sarah Karba, a resident of Delphi who visited the Monin Highbridge trail on a

daily basis to Walker Dogs. On February 13th, 2017, the day the girls went missing.

Sarah explained that she hadn't gone to the trail for a walk that day and

only learned about the girls disappearance after receiving an amber alert.

It was about this time that Sarah decided to take a drive over to the trailhead and see how busy the area was.

But on her drive, she noticed a man walking along the side of the road, not far from the morning light cemetery.

She explained to the jury that the man didn't appear to acknowledge her and that he appeared to be covered in mud and blood.

Sarah further stated that the man she saw, she later recognized as bridge guy.

However, Sarah didn't come forward to report this to law enforcement until three weeks later and stated that she was scared to do so.

During cross-examination, defense attorney Andrew Baldwin asked Sarah

about some of the discrepancies between her testimony in the interview

that she had with investigators back in June of 2017. It was later discovered that over an hour

of the taped interview with Sarah was missing from evidence.

Sarah replied that the details were quote as simple as that.
