Hey there and good morning. It is Wednesday, the 21st of October. Dave and Chuck the Freak here on 101WRIF. Guess what's coming back?

Dave and Chuck the Freaks. .5K, we're just announcing it today. It's going down Saturday, November 21st, downtown Lyon.dot.

In the beer tent at the corner of Elm and Biddle, the .5K is going to take place following the city of Lyon.dot's Christmas parade, probably around 1230 in the afternoon.

There is a $20 registration fee and you can pre-register right now at WRIF.com or register the day of the event starting at 9 a.m.

Your registration gets you a Dave and Chuck the Freak. .5K t-shirt, a .5K gold medal, a .5K sticker, and one post-race beer.

Yum. Yeah. Beer tent is going to be going for the pre and post-race party with the Mark and Andy show broadcasting live.

Beer and food, Jade's going to be spending music and then college football on TV throughout the tent because the big Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan Penn State Games are on that day.

Portion of the proceeds is going to benefit toys for tots and you can also donate a toy for toys for tots that day. We encourage you to do that.
