and Election Day in Palau, in the Oceania, part of the planet,

dominating the Indo-Pacific.

And the contest is between candidates and local issues

and the People's Republic of China and the United States of America.

On the ballot, as I understand from Cleo Pascal, the Foundations for the Defense of Democracies,

writing most recently at the Sunday Guardian, and you can find it on the FDD side as well.

Cleo, the candidates tomorrow are President Whips, who represents the Serenity and Democracy Party,

and Ramanga Sao, Tommy Ramangasau, who has been president before.

Who represents the mainland of China?

Who represents the United States,

and how is it presented? Good evening to you. Good evening. So this is, it's an independent country and they don't have a party system. So everybody will say they're representing the people

of Palau, obviously. The question is whether their policies or the sort of policies

that would leave the country open to more attack, because Palau is currently under a full

court press attack on the political warfare front from the PRC. There have been cyber attacks,

there have been incursions into their waters by these ships that they call research vessels, but are actually spy ships that go up and down the cables.

There's very likely illegal fishing that's kind of still being investigated. Huge amounts of

organized crime.
