dominated by sovereign states, islands, and the contest over those islands between the People's Republic of China and the

United States and its allies is ferocious.

One of the early victories of these last years for China, for Beijing for the Chinese Communist Party,

was the Solomon Islands.

The Solomans are north of Australia, critical in American history because they contain Guadalcanal

that was critical in the in the pushback against the Imperial Japanese once upon a time.

Now it's the Imperial Chinese, and a man named Daniel Sudani, who's been a guest on this show

introduced by Cleo, is now again being persecuted by what

what in other parts of the world are called lawfare.

Legislator Sudani is now a member of the Malleta provincial legislature that is part of the federal government of the Sullivan.

He previously was Premier of Malaita.

And what happened is that he objected to the idea that So Gavari, then the Prime Minister

in Honorea, was going to switch allegiance from Taiwan, the Republic of Taiwan, to mainland China.

This is the part of the game that China is playing.

Pledge honor to us and away from Taiwan. And that led to a series of

events over these last three years that have now turned us back to the original protest of the Chinese
