Hey deserving listeners, it's just me today. I am going to talk about obsessive compulsive disorder or OCD.

I have received a number of emails from patrons asking me to talk about OCD,

She says, there's a lot of misinformation about

O. C. D. out there for example if I tell someone I have O. C. D. They usually say oh I have

O. C. D. too and they completely misunderstand how severe

OCD can be. I have seen Facebook groups about and on these groups

they're making fun of OCD. People will post things saying that OCD is just about lining up pencils in straight lines. As a child, I was so

scared of curses in black luck. Or bad, black luck or bad, I don't know, it's a regional term there, black luck.

I would do a sign of the cross on everything.

I was afraid that an object would curse me. I would pray to God all day long.

I wasn't even able to go into certain shops out of fear I would be cursed.

But now I know the reason why I did these rituals was out of not feeling safe in my environment.
