0:01.3	Welcome to this week's message from Zoe Church.
0:04.3	We are in a series right now called Daily Devoted, and we are going to be in Ezra today, the book of Ezra.
0:12.2	Go there in your Bible.
0:13.6	Before we jump into today's message, I want to thank everybody that gives faithfully to and through Zoe Church.

0:41.1	All right. Open up your Bible. Go with me to the book of ezra anybody believe in the bible today as her chapter 7 we are in a study we've been talking
0:47.4	about daily devoted being daily devoted to god we're not sunday only Christians. I've been saying it. I think God is
0:58.6	just as good, if not better, Monday through Saturday. And I love coming to the temple. I love
1:05.7	coming to church. I love worshiping. I love being in the house of God. But I'm telling you, God is just as good
1:12.5	Monday through Saturday. And we don't want a weekly devotion. Oh, come on somebody. We want a what?
1:19.3	Daily devotion. This is an everyday thing for us. And I want to open up, look at Ezra. We're
1:25.0	going to study the life of Ezra today. Ezra chapter 7, verse 9. He had begun his journey from Babylon on the first day of the first month.
1:36.7	So he was leaving Babylon. Babylon was exile. Babylon was the bad stuff. Babylon was when God's
1:43.1	people were in the wrong place, and he was trying to
1:46.9	lead about 15,000 people, Ezra was trying to lead him into Jerusalem. They were getting out of
1:53.6	something and into something. See, this is why you need fast in prayer. This is why you need these 21 days.
2:00.9	Because we're leaving our old life and we're surrendering to God to our new life.
2:07.4	So he's leaving Babylon, getting into Jerusalem.
