Hello again, I'm Armin Alney, and this is To the Point from Public Radio International,

a daily look at the issues Americans care about most. After Democrats helped delay the president's Trans-Pacific Trade Pact last Friday, there was talk of

taking it up again this week. That's not happening. Republican leaders agree with the White

House. It's absolutely essential, but too many players call it a bad deal, even though the

details are still secret. Today we'll hear why it's so important to both supporters and critics, including multinational

companies, organized labor, and politicians of both parties.
