In Israel last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was elected to a fourth term after

policy on Iran in the U.S. Congress and warning Jewish-Israeli voters that Arab voters were going

to the polls in droves. This week, he appeared on NBC to try to repair the political damage,

and he said, we can have differences, but we have so many things that unite us, and we have

a situation in the Middle East that is very dangerous and presents a common challenge.

Obama responded from the White House on Tuesday, emphasizing that this is not just a personal

issue between him and Netanyahu. Prime Minister Netanyahu has a different approach. This can't be reduced to a matter of somehow, let's all hold hands in sing kumbaya.
