On this Tuesday, as you know, it is Christmas week, an excellent time for some intro-spection.

The cliche is soul-searching, but never say that.

Inter-spection is much better.

Now, the COVID pandemic continues to disrupt all our daily lives.

Politics is generally hateful in this country, and the woke thing is destroying societal

cohesion.

So what would Jesus think of all this since it is His time on the calendar as the author

of the mega-bessiller Killing Jesus, which is a history of the man, not of the divine presence?

I can tell you that Jesus would be sad at the state of the country and the world.

Of course, if you believe Scripture, Jesus could banish them pandemic with a wave of

His hand.

In the book, we do not deal with miracles because there's no historical documentation of them.

But I can tell you this, thousands of poor people walked great distances to see and hear

the Nazarene.

There had to be a reason for that, and the Romans recorded this phenomenon as the crowds

appeared everywhere Jesus went.

So while Christmas is present on us now, I'd like you to consider one question.

How does a stone cutter, his profession, along with Joseph, from a tiny rural town become

the most famous human being who ever walked the earth?

That is a question worth pondering during the days leading up to Christmas.
