find interesting. Yeah well just hang on to your hats for isotopes man I thought

I've learned so much reporting this about both the science of environmental isotopes and a science of genetics and DNA testing which was another huge topic of interest in this case, how the case was partially solved and has also created this really interesting debate about genetic privacy and the role that police

you know can have in all of that. So, who are you?

You've been helping edit some of the episodes of it and we're launching it this, which is very exciting and terrifying.

Where did this come from? How did it start?

It came from like the most, usually what is like the worst place for a story to start which was a press conference.

So we got a press release from the attorney general's office in 2015.

This is hey we've got some new information about a cold case and I just happened to be like standing in the room

at the time when the email came in.

So they were like, oh, go cover that.
