Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider, Matthew Collar and Manning Hill,

and wishing you a very happy Halloween on this evening. I've just been given some candy to

trick-or-treaters. Now my wife's handling that duty for the rest of the night.

So they're not getting left out and my house is not going to get tepeeed or anything

else like that or egged.

But always a fun night to talk about maybe some fun stuff, I think.

I want to talk about spookiness in Viking land, many of which I feel like

there's a lot. And I started making just a small list.

And then I ended up coming to a conspiracy theory

on Halloween that is not like the political

conspiracy theories you hear. But the old aliens and, uh,

you know, pyramids and stuff like that, those style. I came up with one for Vikings history

that I want to share once we get the audience built up a little bit more here, uh, in the room,

but, uh, I'm very proud of myself. I want to know from you what you think the spookiest thing about the Minnesota Vikings

in their history is.

Probably if you're thinking just in the last quarter century, probably kickers.

Just the whole thing with kickers, I mean, the Vikings have had their hearts broken,

fan bases had their hearts broken a couple of times in the postseason with kickers, obviously,

with Gary Anderson missing the kick in 98 against Atlanta in the NFC title game and Blair

Walsh shanking a 27-yard field goal against the Seattle Seahawks in a very cold day

at Van T-CF Bank Stadium.

So when I think of spooky things about the Minnesota Vikings in their history, certainly
