Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider, Matthew Collar, here, along with

Andrew Kramer of the Star Tribune, inside TCL Performance Center, as we are just days away from

a national television matchup between the Vikings and

cults. They have history. There was a comeback. There was that one random tight end in 2016 who

went crazy in a game. That's most of the history that I can remember right now. Andrew,

I want to play a game with you on this episode. It's called, can they fix that or not?

So I want to go through the things that have been ailing the Vikings, and you are to answer,

can they fix that or not? Are you prepared? I think I'm ready. Okay. Let's start out with the

offensive side of the ball. Sam Darnold holding the ball too long. He is going to face a defensive line that

features a monster who has ripped the Vikings faces off and fed it to them in the past

named DeForest Buckner, but they've also got some other good guys as well. Quitty Pay is a fairly

high draft pick. They can get after the passer a bit with this team. And Cam Robinson,

who kind of looks like he's going to play, maybe, at left tackle is an upgrade from whatever it

would have been, but he'll be stepping in, not the same as Christian Derisaw. We don't know what's

happening exactly at Guard. But do you think that Darnold can play his part in this and get rid of the football quicker?

Yeah, that's going to take a lot of people in order to do that, not just Sam Darnold playing quicker and playing with more clarity in his decision making and checking the ball down when he needs to, but also Kevin O'Connell for

maybe putting him in positions where these first and second read plays are quicker and more clear,

more decisive, not that they need to be all a bunch of tunnel screens like Pooka Nakuwa and the Rams,

but I do think that they can make things a little easier for him. We've talked a lot about how

this offense wants to push the ball downfield. They want to run the ball. They want to play action

pass and leverage that into explosive plays. Well, that kind of comes at the cost of if you
