commercial real estate which is a slow burn we're told by Bloomberg for many years

not just in New York but it hits New York

revenues hard. To help me on these stories I welcome Harry Siegel, a senior

editor at the City, an online journal I recommend. He is also a columnist at the New York

Daily News. We begin however with my memory of Mayor Eric Adams, former

borough president, former police officer. former I'll just say that there are two countries here that seem to be at the center of it.

We're going to start with Turkey and then we'll mention China.

successful campaign for the mayoralty. But that's all I remember clearly.

Something caused the mayor to turn around and not finish his mission in Washington. That was

Turkey. What was Turkey.

What was the suspicion at the time?
