We start with breaking news of a crash involving a bus in New York along Interstate 90

east of Buffalo. Officials say a tour bus with about 50 passengers, including children, lost

control for unknown reasons. There's multiple deaths, multiple entrapments, and multiple injuries.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegg Seth has ordered National Guard members patrolling the streets of Washington, D.C.,

to start carrying their service weapons.

That's according to a U.S. defense official.

It comes as other states' national guard members

have started arriving in D.C. to assist the D.C. National Guard.

The move is part of President Donald Trump's crime crackdown in the nation's capital.

Trump threatened to declare a national emergency to keep troops in D.C.

and said Chicago is the next city where his administration will tackle crime,

followed by New York.
