while you can. All right. On to the news, we will start with the U.S. Women's National Team

roster. And you're going to hear most of these names again. So sorry, but here is the new roster

for the two upcoming matches against Australia. I've got a full roster breakdown at the athletic,

and we're going to dig into

this a lot today. For goalkeepers, we've got Bella Bixby, Jane Campbell, and Casey Murphy.

For defenders, Alana Cook, Abby Dahlkempa, Turner Davidson, Emily Fox, Sophia Horta, Becky Sauerbun,

and Emily Sonnet. For midfielders, Lindsay Horan, Rose Lavelle, Katerina Macario, Christy Mewis, Ashley Sanchez, and Andy Sullivan.

For forwards, Bethany Balser, Ashley Hatch, Margaret Purse, Sophia Smith, Lynn Williams, and Morgan Weaver.

On to NWSL, San Diego has a name. Welcome to San Diego Wave Football Club. No crest or colors yet, but those sound like they're in the final stages of wrapping up. I think we're going to hear about those before we get to the double drafts in December. All right. The news that no one expected this week is sanctions on Angel City concerning tampering.

Here's the direct NWSL statement.

The National Women's Soccer League announced today that Angel City Football Club has been found in violation of the league tampering policy regarding New Jersey, New York, Gotham FC forward alley long.

As a result of the league's findings, Angel City Football Club has been fined $20,000 in cash and $20,000 in 2022 unfunded allocation money.

Now, this I think, is going to be a bit of a continuing story, but definitely interesting and I think also a little revealing about some of these internal

politics across the NWSL. So stay tuned on this front. But again, interesting that Angel City

just kind of keeps getting fined by the league when other teams might be doing the same thing.
