Leslie will join us shortly for our conversation with Greg Rogers

public policy manager at Nuro, the company that's arguably led the way on

developing and deploying delivery robots.

Greg is going to share with us some company updates on testing and deployment plans.

He's also going to talk about how the company thinks it can use delivery robots to bring food to people who need it and

solve problems with food deserts in cities.

He's also going to talk to us about how the e-commerce boom is increased interest in robotic deliveries.

Touch on some of the other goings on in Washington, D.C. as they relate to crafting regulations and laws involving autonomous vehicles.

Before we get to Greg though, I want to tell you a little bit about an event I attended last week in Northern California

called Self Racing Cars at Thunder Hill Raceway Park in Willows, which is about,

oh about two hours north of San Francisco.

This was not a race in the traditional sense for that in the autonomous world.

We have the Indy Autonomous Challenge which took place Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

So one week before that I was at South Racing Cars in Northern California, which on the other hand was more of a come one come all events where anyone from an individual coder to a startup bringing a team of people

to a team from invidia could show up and test pretty much whatever they wanted on a
