Okay. chapter seven. This is this is a long one,

but we're going to move through it quickly. You're going to see. So again, shifting gears.

So that's the blessing that Aaron and his sons use that the high priest and the priest use. Now, chapter 7. Now it came to pass on the day Moses finished setting up the tabernacle. Okay, so now we're back to a story. Now we're back to history. So remember, we're picking up where we left off back in Leviticus, like several chapters back into Leiticus after they set up the tabernacle, remember?

Okay, so now we're back there. Now we're getting to narrative. We're getting to history.

I told you, number of shifts gears, right? It bounces around, different types of material.

The came to pass, the day Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed and sanctified it in all its vessels, and the altar in all

its vessels, thus he anointed and sanctified these things. That's the last thing we read about

the tabernacle was about them anointing everything, remember back in Leviticus? Then the rulers of

Israel, the 12 rulers of their father's houses, who were the rulers of the tribes, and were in charge

of the census, brought gifts. So, remember the census in chapters one and were in charge of the census brought gifts. So remember the census

in chapters one and two. Remember there was somebody who was like the elder of each tribe

who went with Moses to do the census because the kind of elder of each tribe knew the heads

of all the families and therefore he could help do the count, right? He do everybody.

They help do the count.

So these leaders, on behalf of each tribe, they come and they bring, and the gifts they're

talking about here are sacrifices.

So they come to bring sacrifices now that the tabernacle has been set up and it's ready to

receive and offer sacrifices.

They brought their gifts before the Lord,
