Okay, we'll go ahead and get started and when we get started,

we're going to pick up at the beginning of Numbers chapter 5. I talked about chapters three and four

last time. Like I said last time, reviews that the book of numbers are going to be quick

because the book of numbers, as to be quick because the book of

numbers, as we said before, in the last couple of Bible studies as we started going through it,

is kind of a hodgepodge of different things, all kind of throw it together. So there's stories.

There's like narrative stories and history in it. There's also like census data,

like we read at the beginning, where it's just listing how many people were in the different

tribes. There's also commandments. When we start chapter five, we're going to be getting into

commandments. But this is a good example of that. So at the end of chapter four, when we left off,

we were going through the Levites, different clans of the Levites, the different families,

there are different assignments in relation to the tabernacle and how many of them there were.

That's what we were talking about all last time.

That ends.

And now as we pick up in chapter five, it's going to be talking about people who have contracted

uncleanness so it's not completely unrelated right because as we talked about there was a thread

when it was talking about the levites and the priests that part of their job was to make sure that

nothing unclean came into the tabernacle that's part of their job. So it's not completely unrelated.
