The U.S. and Iran are meeting in Rome today for another round of nuclear talks,

but the leaders of the two countries have seemed far apart in their messaging in recent days.

I asked CNN's Ben Wiederman, what's likely to be on the table today?

Hi, Joe. On the table at the talks being held at the Omani embassy here is the whole question of uranium enrichment.

Iranian officials have complained the U.S. is sending mixed messages.

Officials in Washington sometimes saying Iran would be able to enrich uranium at low levels, and then insisting Iran completely halt its entire

nuclear program. But Iran has made a huge investment in that nuclear program, which it insists

is peaceful, before flying to Rome, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Harakshi put it bluntly in

a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Figuring out the path to a deal is not rocket science, he wrote.

Zero nuclear weapons equals we do have a deal.
