blame game.

I welcome Verenique to Regi of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, writing

Syndicate, about how blame is a very good ploy. What does it mean?

Varenika, a very good evening to you. The Biden administration blames and

blames. Who do they blame for the food prices? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. First, I mean let's not forget that the latest iteration is that the

inflation was already really high when Biden took office. Apparently, as the president remembers it, inflation was already there well anchored in our economy. Of course, that's not correct, but that's some of the things that he's been saying.

They've been blaming great, they've been blaming corporation, greed, they've been blaming profit concentration, they've been blaming

shrinkflation, they've been blaming supply chains, they've been blaming all sorts of phenomenon for the

inflation. And it works. We've had inflation now for several years. It's becoming

normalized. However, you give me the House Budget Committee numbers and this doesn't look like 2%, 3% or 9% inflation,

this looks like cash.

According to the House Budget Committee, the average family of four is paying $1,143 more each month

than it was in early 2021.

Is that fact dealt with by the White House? Do they comment on that?

Because that's cash. Yeah, I don't know. I don't think they obviously don't want to

put a number like this out there and I'm sure if they were asked about it they

would have a lot of things to say about it and they would then turn around pivot and say that

it's the greed of corporations that is actually brought about these problems.

But I just I think kind of the administration is is really trying as hard as it can to not talk in concrete term about what inflation
