Hey everybody. This is Rob Lifo. We are back in the land of the Robeservations where we talk

comics all the time, comic books, pop culture, all of it. And this is from a perspective that I grew up

reading, consuming, obsessed with comics. I started in 1975. We are almost 20 episodes in,

and we are still in the world of fan observations for myself and others. I have not broken into comics as yet.

My comics career has not started.

I, you know, eventually we are going to get to X-Force and to Deadpool and the cable and to Captain America and the Avengers and image and all that stuff.

It's going to be very exciting.

But this is a very interesting time that we are going to discuss tonight.

We are still circling in this 1986 realm and

the interesting thing about 1986. It is wildly, widely seen as the death of the Bronze Age.

It's the death of the Bronze Era. You know, there was the Golden Age, the silver age, and there is the bronze age, which I have just belabored the point of how important it is, how it, the bronze age of comics is the age that you've been seeing since Figey threw the switch and activated the Marvel universe of films as we know it with Downey Jr.

All of these movies have been dancing in the Bronze Age.

And so much of the Bronze Age is yet to come with Shang Chi, with the Eternals.

I mean, Captain Marvel with Brie Larson, it was set in the 90s, but it was a Bronze Age

Era tale because she launches in her own title in the mid-70s and that's when she blows up.

But so much of what's on the slate taskmaster

in black widow is from the bronze age so Thanos ruled the bronze age so much of what

Marvel uh the MCU the Disney uh films are still mining this they are are deep drilling it. But in 86, everything started

to change. And we're going to do a deep dive tonight. I am not alone in this. I have brought my
