Welcome to The Treatment. I'm Elvis Mitchell. If you've seen Tremay, or more importantly, the last season and a couple episodes now of The Shy on

Showtime, you've seen my guest offer a range of experience as an actor. He is Entade, Guma,

Mbaho, Mune. He is Ronnie on the Shy, which is now on the second season. First of all,

thanks so much for being here. Thank you so much for having me.

I mean, it's interesting, for me,

it was really interesting as the way these guys all deal with fear.

You know, and what we're seeing in Ronnie,

and I mentioned this, we had a conversation where I work with Film Independent

with Lena Waith, and the creator of the show,

one of the things that's so interesting to me about the shy is it's about a group of

people in a place in Chicago who are living circumstances so straightened that they can't think

five minutes ahead. And Ronnie is somebody who really is trapped in that not being able to think

ahead. And let's talk a little bit about what this guy has gone through from season one to where we are now,

where he's managing a household, taking care of an elder relative, his grandmother, trying to keep things straight,

and is lost to street violence in its way, accused of murder.

And I don't want to give too much away, but we see him in this second season.

The very beginning of the season, he's got some order in his life because we see his military

training come in.

And then there's a flashback to when he's just come back from being in country.

And we see the pride in him.

And that he actually is capable of bringing some order to his life.
