Headline, Financial Times, these last days,

The Rise of Nuclear-powered Batteries.

Companies vie to create small plants for deployment to sites from data centers to oil

platforms. We're talking about nanonuclear reactors. More importantly, we're talking about

an unusual technical language about what fuels these nanoreactors, these battery-sized reactors.

And I don't mean ever-ready batteries.

I mean a battery that you can haul around on a flatbed.

The Financial Times tells us the reactor uses small quantities of ceramic-coated treso fuel, T-R-I-S-O.

That's the important word, which is designed to withstand extreme temperatures without melting down.

It goes on to say the E-V-V-I-N-C-I is the first microreactor, that's the name of it, to complete engineering studies for a test program, expected to start in 2027 at the Idaho National Laboratory in the U.S.

And Westinghouse recently signed a deal with core power, a U. a UK startup looking to develop nuclear power plants

at sea. Henry, a very good evening to you. We've got small modular reactors in the news for some

time, but these are battery-sized hauling around on flatbeds, even at sea.
