Well, it's the time again. It's time for us to talk about guns because that's what we do here on

gun talk. Stay doing obvious. Hey, I'm Tom Gresham, I am your host.

And for the next several hours, we're going to be talking about, well, guns and

ammo and scopes and all things that go bang.

Also, we'll talk about politics there we're talking

about competition I was involved in my first 22-M-Finer precision rifle match

yesterday that was humbling. And we'll talk about your guns. We're

going to be pretty much open lines all day to day. I'll clear the deck. We don't have much in the way of guests and want to talk

a bit about what happened at the NRA. Lots of things happening there as a result of kind of a takeover for the most part by the reformers of the board and the key positions there and the executive vice president we'll talk about what's going on there what we think may be happening

of course the overarching question on that is is it too little too late

to actually save the National Rifle Association. I guess the corollary to that is, do we care? I don't know. I don't know where you are on that, but would love to get your

take on it as well. We have to of course start off remembering that this is Memorial Day weekend. We don't, I don't know if you say you celebrate it, but you commemorate it and you memorialize those who've lost their lives in the service of the country, representing us, protecting us.

And if you would, just take a moment to remember those,

remember those families, remember all of those who have been affected by that.

And why you're at it let me add this it is an ongoing issue

just in the special forces community alone, we're losing more than one a day now to suicides.

Of course, that expands across all the bands, all the groups of veterans out there.

And so I would ask you to just take a look at what, if anything you might be able to do to help.
