Israeli military officials say it will take another six weeks to two months to take over the

entire Gaza Strip, according to multiple Israeli media reports.

And peers Frank Langford says international pressure is building on Israel to finish the war quickly.

Asked about the news reports, Israeli government spokesman Alon Levy would not provide a timetable.

We've set targets, not deadlines. This war will... would not

deadlines.

This war will continue as long as is needed.

Of course, we too want this war to be over,

but we need this war to be over in a way that ensures that Hamas can never again hurt our people.

The clock continues to tick on Israel's invasion of Gaza, which followed the October 7th

Hamas attack that killed some 1,200 Israelis.

The Gaza Health Ministry says more than 17,000 people have died

there so far. On Friday, nearly the entire United Nations Security Council, 13 members voted

for an immediate ceasefire.

The U.S. vetoed the resolution.
