President Biden says he spoke today with the Mayor of Burlington, Vermont, to offer his support for the investigation

into the shooting of three college students of Palestinian descent, and P.R. Franco-ordonias

more.

President Biden said he and the first Lady were horrified to learn of the

shooting and they are praying for the students full recovery. He said in a

statement that they're waiting for more facts but emphasized that there is

quote absolutely no place for violence or hate in America.

White House Press Secretary Corin Jean-Pierre says the President continues to receive updates on the investigation.

These students were taking part in a uniquely American tradition, gathering with family

and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving. They should be back in school with their classmates, not in a hospital room.

The President also promised the Mayor to provide any additional federal resources needed.
