Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Janine Herbst. As the two-week-old

Israel Hamas war threatens to widen into a broader conflict.

Israeli warplanes today struck targets across Gaza and reportedly at two airports in Syria.

Israel has also traded fire with Lebanon's Hezbollah militant group on a nearly daily basis.

But Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a warning for Hezbollah,

saying if they enter the war, they'll be making the biggest mistake of their lives.

We will hit them with an unimaginable force. It will mean devastation for them and the state of Lebanon.

Her there through a BBC interpreter. Meanwhile, another convoy of humanitarian aid of food,

water, and medicine has been delivered to this other Gaza strip today through the Rafa Crossing.

President Biden and Netanyahu spoke by phone today, saying there will now be a continued flow

of critical aid to Gaza. The leaders also talked about efforts to secure the release of all

remaining hostages taken by Hamas, that includes Americans, and a spokesperson for Hamas' military

wing says the group is willing to free two more hostages. If your Giuliana Kim has more on

Secretary of State Antony Blinken's response. The Israeli military says a total of two-hundred-twelfth

people are still being held hostage in Gaza more than two weeks after the deadly attack by Hamas.

Now, a Hamas military spokesperson said the group is prepared to release two more hostages
