President Biden lent his support to striking auto-workers with a visit to a picket line outside

Detroit today.

This is the first time in history that a sitting president has walked a picket line

with striking workers.

Biden was joined by united auto-workers, President Sean Fein, who said that Biden's

presence was a boost to all unionized workers in the country.

Biden wore a black UAW ball cap and spoke through a bullhorn, telling striking UAW members

outside a general motors facility that they deserve significant pay raises, given the

sacrifices they made to help the company survive 15 years ago.

On Wednesday, former president Trump visits the Detroit area in support of strikers, but

his rally is scheduled to take place at a non-union manufacturing firm, Don Gagne, NPR News,

Detroit.

Yet another legal wrinkle for former president Trump, a judge has cited with state attorney

General Leticia James in a civil suit.

He accuses Trump of illegally inflating his assets and net worth by billions of dollars.
