Escalating tensions and attacks between Israel and Hezbollah are growing.

The militant group launched more than 100 rockets deep into northern Israel overnight

and the group's deputy leader says it is now in an open-ended battle with Israel.

It was in response to Israeli airstrikes in recent days targeting Hezbollah and missile launchers

along with exploding pagers and cell phones.

It all left dozens dead, including two senior Hezbollah leaders.

We did not want this war, we're not seeking war. This war was waged upon us by the proxies of the Empire of Evil of Iran

on October 7th by Hamas and on October 8th by Hezbollah andizbala, and ever since, from Lebanon in the north, and of course from

Hamas in the south and all over the Middle East.

Speaking there on CBS's face the nation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is vowing to do whatever it takes to restore security in his country,

but this weekend relatives of hostages taken by Hamas slammed his actions saying he should get the people back before escalating

tensions.

Authorities in Birmingham, Alabama continued to search for the gunman in a mass shooting

last night that left four people dead, more than a dozen injured.

Police say the suspects drove to the area, got out of a vehicle, opened fire, and then fled in the vehicle.
