Ukraine's government today dismissed all its deputy defense ministers and inaccusations

of corruption.

And Pyrrhus Pino-Litvinovio has more on the shake-up, which comes as Ukraine's president

is preparing to make fresh appeals to the UN and the U.S. Congress.

Among those forced out is Hanna Malar, the deputy defense minister who gave daily briefings

on Ukraine's counter-offensive and one of the few women in President Vladimir Zelensky's

government.

Ukrainian law says that if a top minister is dismissed, that ministers' deputies must also

go.

Defense Minister Oleksiy Ryaznikov, who advocated strongly for Western weapons, was pushed

to resign on September 4 after a series of corruption scandals.

Because in the Ukrainian government say that the new defense minister Rustam Umerov

plans to bring in his own deputies and is currently assessing candidates.

President Biden's son Hunter Biden is suing the IRS, his lawyers arguing two agents violated

the younger Biden's right to privacy when they publicly aired his tax information while

pressing claims that a federal investigation was mishandled.

The lawsuit says Hunter Biden's personal tax details were unlawfully shared during congressional

hearings.

The suit comes days after he was indebted on federal firearms charges amid a long-running

justice department probe.
