Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Jack Spear. On the campaign trail in Charlotte, North Carolina today, Vice President Kamala Harris said she would welcome another debate against

a Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump.

Though Trump on his social media post shot down the idea saying he will not participate in another presidential

face-off against the Democratic nominee. Harris meanwhile again

kicked off some of the issues he talked about during her first and apparently

only debate with Trump during their differences in approach.

protecting reproductive freedom, and keeping our nation safe and secure.

But that's not what we heard from Donald Trump.

Wightly viewed as losing the debate to his Democratic opponent, Trump allowed Harris to

rattle him going off message more than once.

Former President Trump, meanwhile, is in Tucson, Arizona today for his first campaign rally following

Tuesday's presidential debate.
