Vice President Kamala Harris is in Georgia where she and running mate Tim

Walles will take part in a bus tour, culminating with rally tomorrow night. To win toss up Georgia

Harris has to pick up votes beyond Democratic strongholds in Metro Atlanta

for member station W A B. E. Sam Greenglass says more. Last year Savannah Mayor Van Johnson said he was extremely concerned about President

Joe Biden's chances in Georgia.

His analysis has since changed.

The road to the White House goes through Georgia,

and the lane to that road goes through Savannah

and coastal Georgia.

Harris last visited Savannah in February.

I don't think ever in our history and we're 291 years old.

The last Democratic presidential candidate to campaign

by bus in South Georgia was Bill Clinton in 1992. For NPR News I'm Sam
