Minnesota Governor Tim Walls is closing out tonight's Democratic National Convention when he accepts his Mr.

Wall's is closing out tonight's Democratic National Convention when he accepts his party's

vice presidential nomination.

The Midwestern governor was relatively unknown just a few weeks ago is using the

stage to introduce himself to the nation.

Minnesota Public Radio's Claymaster says more.

It was just earlier this month that current Vice President Kamala Harris announced she was going

with Governor Tim Walls as her running mate.

Walls regularly brings up his 20 years as a high school social studies teacher and football coach.

His stump speeches sometimes sound like he's huddling with players on the football field.

We need you on the team.

On November 5th, I want to be at the end of that day when the ballots close across this country,

Walls and Harris were both in Milwaukee last night for a rally in the crucial swing state of Wisconsin.

Harris will close out the convention with her speech
