The FBI is learning more about the 20-year-old gunman who tried to assassinate former President Trump

at a rally in Pennsylvania two weeks ago. The agency says Thomas Crooks bought 25

gun products between the spring of 2023 and the first half of this year.

Meanwhile the house today said it's created a bipartisan panel to investigate the assassination

attempt, including the security failures that allowed it to happen.
