Even as some describe the mood at a closed door meeting by Democrats on Capitol Hill today as grim top House leaders

seem to be uniting behind President Joe Biden. Public calls from some Democrats

for the President to step down after his poor debate performance appeared to have lessened

what NPR's all things considered Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was after she

has any concerns about Biden's ability to perform.

I don't you know I'm proud to be a co-chair of the Biden Harris campaign I've got

complete confidence in our president he has the receipts he's delivered

whether it's on-shoring supply chains or bringing down the cost of insulin, protecting a woman's

right to make her own decisions about her body.

These are the fundamentals that I know are weighing on voters all across the country.

In the meantime, in the Senate, where the President spent much of his career,

lawmakers were largely silent.

Biden has emphatically refused to step down saying he is best positioned to defeat

Donald Trump in November.

A Pennsylvania school district is reeling after some middle school students there

created at least 22 fake Tik-Toc accounts and impersonated their teachers.
