Hurricane Barrel continues to surge through the Caribbean Sea.

Its top sustained winds are at 145 miles per hour, a category 4 storm.

Barrel's top sustained winds were more than 160 miles per hour when it first made

landfall near the islands of Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Sharon DeRoche made it through the storm on Union Island, a part of St. Vincent.

She says she's survived in the part of her home that's built with concrete.

I survived in my childhood area.

It was a hard four hours battling.

There are reports of six storm deaths so far in the Caribbean. Hurricane Barrel is now aiming for

Jamaica. It's expected to hit part or all of that island by tomorrow. Parts of

Grand Cayman are also in the storm's path. Later today President Biden plans to meet with a group of Democratic governors at the White House.

The President will also be speaking to Democratic leaders in Congress.

And Pierre's deepest shiverom reports, this follows the president's poor performance in last week's debate against former President Donald Trump.
