A Coleman, there are many air quality alerts spread across the Midwest and the East Coast

today.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires is blowing south, settling a depaze across all of Iowa,

Illinois, and Michigan, and parts of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York.

New York Governor Kathy Hocal says millions of people are now feeling the effects of climate

change in real time.

This is not something that we're talking about future generations dealing with it.

We are truly the first generation to feel the real effects of climate change, and we're

also the last generation to do anything meaningful about it.

The tracking site IQ Air says some of the worst air quality in the world is now in Detroit

and Chicago.

The air quality problems come as forecasters say dangerous heat is hitting large parts

of the south.

Heat indexes could be in the triple digits from southern Illinois to the Gulf Coast today.

Global prosecutors are said to interview Georgia Republican Secretary of State Brad

Raffin Spurger today.

It's part of the investigation of efforts by former President Donald Trump and his allies

to overturn the 2020 election.
