Coleman, officials in the Texas Panhandle say three people are dead after a tornado hit

the town of Matador, north of Lubbock.

There is significant damage.

The National Weather Service says hail fell the size of baseballs.

The storm comes a few days after a separate tornado in the region killed three more people

and injured another 100.

Searchers are still scouring the North Atlantic Ocean for a missing submersible.

The five people aboard had descended to look at the Titanic.

The National Geographic Editor, Kristen Roomey, says the company that created the submersible

Ocean Gate may not have had regulatory oversight for the craft.

Most companies that build these, they do work with these licensing agencies either out of

the U.S. or Europe.

I mean granted, there is no DMV for submersibles.

It's more of a voluntary thing.

These groups were actually reaching out to Ocean Gate and saying, look, let us work with

you to ensure that the submetes are standards.

And Ocean Gate was kind of like these are regulations that are keeping us from innovating.

The submersible has been missing since Sunday.

The House of Representatives has voted to censure Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff, a frequent

target of Republicans.

As NPR's Barbara Sprunt reports, the vote was along party lines.
