President Trump is still deciding whether to launch U.S. airstrikes against Iranian nuclear

facilities.

White House press secretary Caroline Levitt says

all options remain on the table, but emphasizes that diplomacy is still possible.

I have a message directly from the president, and I quote, based on the fact that there's a substantial

chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with

Iran in the near future. I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.

For now, the Trump administration says it continues to monitor the situation and assess its

options. Israel's airstrikes on Iranian nuclear targets continue into their second week.

European foreign ministers are meeting with Iran's top diplomat in Geneva today in a last-ditch

effort to ease tensions. A federal appeals court says President Trump can keep control of the

National Guard troops deployed to Los Angeles.

Guy Marzorati from member station KQED reports the decision puts a challenge from the state of California on hold.
