President Biden's re-election campaign is officially underway.

His NPR's Franco-Ordonia's reports Biden rallied union workers during a stop in Philadelphia

on Saturday.

President Biden returned to the swing state of Pennsylvania where he also launched his

2020 campaign to a union audience.

He tried it out some of his favorite lines about the middle class building the country.

He boasted of recent job numbers and hailed America's return as a leader on the international

stage.

Folks, I'm looking forward to this campaign.

I want you to know why because you've got a story to tell.

We've got a story to tell.

We've got a record to run on.

Earlier in the day, he toured reconstruction efforts of the I-95 bridge collapse.

He said the money from his bipartisan infrastructure law that's going to Pennsylvania would give

the governor more flexibility to move existing state funds to the effort right away.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on a high-stakes diplomatic mission in China this weekend.

The BBC's Anthony Zerker reports Blinken held talks with the Chinese foreign minister

in an attempt to ease escalating tensions between the two countries.

Minister Chen greeted Secretary Blinken at the D.O.U.T. State guesthouse, a lavish estate

that typically hosts visiting dignitaries.
