I sometimes get into arguments with people where they will say to me, but it can't be singular, and I will say, but it is.

Thousands of people demonstrated across Israel today following the news of the rescue of four hostages

earlier in the day in an Israeli military operation that killed more than 200 Palestinians.

And as Adil Al-Shulchi reports, many gathered to celebrate the rescue and send the government a message.

In hostage square in the heart of Tel Aviv, thousands of people listen to speeches from the families of some of the Israeli hostages. of that four hostages were rescued in a military operation, the mood wasn't exactly

joyous.

Rodent Katz said he was at home when he heard the news, but it was a bittersweet feeling.

We could have done much more, not now eight months after we could have done it on the first or second or three weeks.

Cats blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government for not doing enough to get the rest of the hostages out.

On Israel's count there are still 120 hostages in Gaza, about a third of whom are believed

to be dead.
