President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy talked today by phone about the

debt ceiling limit as Biden flew back from the G7 summit in Japan.

McCarthy called the talks productive.

Their staffs will work tonight and then Biden and McCarthy will meet in person tomorrow.

I would say we're focused on raising the debt ceiling and there will be hard choices.
