Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing Rafa in southern Gaza,

as fighting intensifies there between the Israeli military

and Hamas militants. But Palestinians say there's no safe place to go. The UN

says there are more than 1 million people sheltering from the war there.

President Biden says the US will withhold some military aid if Israel launches a full-scale invasion there.

And Pierce Asmachalit has more.

The Biden administration did pause an arm shipment of about 3,000 bombs last week out of concern

that these types of weapons could be used in a densely populated area like Rafa.

And I think you can sense the growing frustration

that President Biden has with the Israeli government

just based on his willingness to publicly

threaten to cut off some weapons.

But also, to this point, we have not seen any sort of

sea change in actual administration policy.
