As the summer travels season approaches, the Biden administration is putting more pressure

on big airlines to compensate customers for preventable delays.

And PR Scott Horsley is more from the White House.

Extreme weather, overstretch staffing and scheduling and at times crippling computer problems

have led to several high-profile widespread airline cancellations during the time Biden

has been in office.

Biden, along with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, is urging airlines to standardize

broader compensation for cancellations, including hotel and meal costs.

To the end of the pandemic, Eric Health Order, known as Title 42 Thursday, over $38 million

will be allocated to San Antonio organizations that provide humanitarian aid to migrant families.

Texas Public Radio's Marion Navarro has more.

Texas Congressman Joaquin Castro and Greg Gassar announced the funds will be used to help

provide shelter and food to the large number of migrants anticipated when Title 42 ends.
