In Baltimore, crews are starting to work on removing the wreckage of the Francis Gocke Bridge that collapsed

this week after a massive cargo ship hit a pillar and brought the bridge down in a matter of seconds.

Scott Spellman says three steps have to happen to reopen the waterway.

First is the channel itself. There is a lot of heavy, very heavy steel bisecting that channel and there's

a lot of concrete at the bottom of the channel. The second phase is the vessel itself has a number of

containers on top of it still. Those

containers have to be stabilized and then of course the third phase is to remove the

remaining 2,900 feet of Steel Trust Bridge and concrete and roadway that's at the bottom of the river.

Six construction workers died. The bodies of four of them are still missing.
