Political tensions in Israel appeared with ease somewhat after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

announced a one-month pause in his effort to overhaul the country's judiciary.

In a speech last night, Netanyahu acknowledged the growing protests and disruptions to the

Israeli economy over his proposal.

The Prime Minister said he wants to avoid a civil war and would work to reach a compromise

with his political opponents.

Authorities in Tennessee are investigating a motive for yesterday's deadly shooting at

a private Christian elementary school in Nashville.

A suspect shot and killed three children and three adults at the Covenant School before

being fatally shot by officers.

The calls came in around 10-15 in the morning.

About 15 minutes later, the suspect was dead.

Audrey Hale was armed with several weapons, including two assault-style rifles.

Nashville Police Chief John Drake says law enforcement did not hesitate to enter the

school.

I was hoping this day would never ever come here in this city, but we would never wait

to make entry and to go in and to stop a threat, especially when it deals with our children.

The students who were killed have been identified as Evelyn Deek House, Halley Scruggs, and William

Kinney, all under 10 years old.

The school staff were in their 60s, Cynthia Peake, Catherine Coons, and Mike Hill.
