The International Criminal Court in the Hague is issued in arrest warrant for Russian

President Vladimir Putin over Moscow's alleged seizure of thousands of Ukrainian children.

Terry Schultz reports that the government official overseeing the alleged deportations

is also indicted.

The ICC says Russian President Putin and his commissioner for children's rights, Maria

Alexei Ivanovna-Lovov-Ovabelova, have committed war crimes by forcibly deporting possibly

thousands of children from Ukraine to Russia.

ICC President Piotr Huffmansky notes such transfers are especially egregious because children

should have special protection under the Geneva Convention.

Huffmansky says judges decided to make the warrants public for a reason.

In the interest of justice and to prevent the Commission of Future Crimes.

Countries belonging to the court are now obliged to arrest Putin and Lovov-Ovabelova if

they travel to their territory.

collapse of two banks and despite help from the federal government worries remain that

problems in the banking sector could spread.
