The Supreme Court heard arguments today against President Biden's debt forgiveness plan,

with a conservative majority-and-pointed questioning to leave the administration as promised

a bar was now looks to be in jeopardy.

In arguments lasting more than three hours, the justices heard from two lawsuits against

President Biden's plan to cancel up to $20,000 in federal student loan debt for millions

of qualifying Americans.

Conservative justices repeatedly questioned the education departments' claimed legal

authority to discharge federal student loan debt.

The questioning also signaled that the court may use this case as a way to outline limitations

on unilateral executive action.

There were some questions on standing, or whether or not the plaintiffs could prove they

were the right ones to be suing.

Some notably from the High Court's newest member, Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

A decision is not expected until late June or early July.

The US Marshall Service, as there was a security breach in one of their systems earlier

this month, that targeted sensitive information within the agency.
